CONFLICT OF INTEREST STATEMENT

Northern Light Consulting (NLC) Company Director Sarah Riddle is also Director of Business Engagement for the Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC).  Whilst there are potential synergies between some of the activities undertaken by both organisations, and elements of the two roles which could be complementary, NLC and SAIC have put in place measures to ensure that no conflicts of interest can arise. These include proactive disclosure to SAIC of a full register of NLC’s business interests, regularly updated and reviewed by the SAIC CEO, and full disclosure of and approval provided in writing by SAIC for any new non-aquaculture-innovation NLC business which could lead to the perception of a conflict of interest. That register of interests contains commercially sensitive information so will not be publicly available, but will be disclosed to SAIC’s funders, for information
