Mission and Values

Formed in 2013, we are growing fast, developing a strong and diverse client base. We aim to be the leading provider of business and project consultancy services in the North of Scotland within our chosen sectors.

Based in Fort William, we are passionate about living and working in the area, and we firmly believe that there is a bright and sustainable future for both communities and businesses in the Highlands and the Islands.

We have a strong focus on achieving results and ensuring that our clients have the best possible opportunity to share in this bright future, by helping them to secure new work opportunities, or deliver projects which drive growth and prosperity.

· Our number one priority is to provide the best possible service to our clients.

· We carry out our work to the highest health, safety, quality and environmental standards.

· Professionalism and integrity is at the heart of everything we do.

· We always maintain our clients confidentiality and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

· We listen to our clients needs and tailor our service to deliver their aspirations.

Northern Light Consulting (NLC) Company Director Sarah Riddle is also Director of Business Engagement for the Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC).  Whilst there are potential synergies between some of the activities undertaken by both organisations, and elements of the two roles which could be complementary, NLC and SAIC have put in place measures to ensure that no conflicts of interest can arise. These include proactive disclosure to SAIC of a full register of NLC’s business interests, regularly updated and reviewed by the SAIC CEO, and full disclosure of and approval provided in writing by SAIC for any new non-aquaculture-innovation NLC business which could lead to the perception of a conflict of interest. That register of interests contains commercially sensitive information so will not be publicly available, but will be disclosed to SAIC’s funders, for information.
