Announcement of Marine Fund Scotland 2025/26 Awards!

We’re proud to have supported a number of our clients through another competitive round of Marine Fund Scotland applications this year - helping to secure over £2.4 million in the latest round announced earlier this month. This fund plays a vital role in delivering Scotland’s Aquaculture and Scotland’s Blue Economy Vision, backing projects that drive innovation, sustainability, and community benefits across our coasts and islands.

At Northern Light Consulting, we’ve worked closely with businesses and organisations over the last four rounds to:

• Develop robust project and cost specifications for our clients

• Prepare high-quality applications aligned with Scottish Government policy priorities and client goals

• Provide end-to-end grant management and compliance support

Over the past few years, we have helped secure £5 million in Marine Fund Scotland grant support for projects valued at £18 over million encompassing aquaculture innovation, carbon reduction and R&D. This year’s successes continue that momentum, enabling clients to take their projects to the next level and contribute to a thriving marine economy.
