Isle of Rum Local Place Plan.

Northern Light Consulting was appointed to prepare the Isle of Rum Local Place Plan (LPP), a community led planning document developed in accordance with the Planning (Scotland) Act 2019.

The project required a bespoke approach due to the island’s unique context, including its small population, single settlement at Kinloch, complex land ownership arrangements, and status as a National Nature Reserve largely managed by NatureScot.
