Over the last few weeks we were delighted to welcome Erin Wilson to the team. Erin graduated this summer from the University of Aberdeen studying BSc (Hons) Marine Biology.
During her time with us, Erin was given various assignments to identify suitable locations and undertake detailed site assessments of potential locations for aquaculture developments.
This included undertaking research into planning and marine licencing policy, using mapping tools and data sets to identify constraints and consequently analyse these findings and appraising options, proposing suitable mitigations, and making recommendations. Erin worked flexibility and remotely for the majority of her internship with some visits to our office in Fort William – she was very motivated to complete the scope of works and a fantastic asset to our team!
